Free electronics recycling · Surrey & Metro Vancouver
That laptop that's been in the closet since 2019 still has years left in it. Drop it in our box in Surrey or book a free doorstep pickup anywhere from Vancouver to Chilliwack. We wipe it, ERA fixes it up, and it goes to a charity that needs one.
So far neighbours have handed over more than 550 lbs of old electronics through the drop box and the truck.
Walk up and drop it in. Nothing to fill out, nobody to wait for. The box stays locked and we empty it every evening.
Too heavy to carry, too much to fit in a car, or no car at all? The truck is out four times a week. Book a slot and it comes to you.
Already booked? Manage it
Broken is fine. Missing chargers, cracked screens, dead batteries — all of it still has parts worth saving.
Not sure about something? Send us a photo — we'll answer the same day, and point you to somewhere that does take it.
The truck covers about 90 km around our Surrey drop box. If you're in one of these areas, we'll come to your door for free:
Further away? Drop off at any ERA depot or request a free prepaid shipping label.
Check your address and bookEverything we collect goes straight to the Electronic Recycling Association. Their technicians and volunteers wipe it, fix what's fixable and load a clean operating system, and the finished machine is given to a charity, school or care home that asked for one. What's genuinely past saving gets broken down for parts and materials instead of going to landfill.

Still bring it. Dead batteries, smashed screens and missing chargers are all fine — technicians strip usable parts from anything they can't repair, and the rest is recycled for materials.
